Catherine Bell is a tall and athletic model born in London. She relocated with her mother into Los Angeles when she was a child. In college, with the intention of studying premed and then pursue a modelling career in Japan. She returned to L.A. after doing a couple of commercials, and guest appearances on television programs and film projects of a lesser degree. In 1992 she was Isabella Rosellini's naked body double in the film Death Is Her and was introduced to her partner Adam Deason on the set. Her curiosity was ignited by an appearance on a minor guest show in the NBC JAG drama JAG. In real life, as a skier and kickboxer and snowboarder, her skills in the sport paved the way for physically demanding roles in action films such as Men of War, Crash Dive and Black Thunder.
