Annie Mist Thorisdottir. CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She owns and runs Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she is a coach for athletes. Annie is the first woman to win in the CrossFit Games twice. Her second place was both in 2010, and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion, and a popular media figure. The media has praised her for being the first woman to ever win twice at CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. In addition, she is famous for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie was born in Iceland, Reykjavik along with her parents and siblings. Being an avid sportsman and working out enthusiast from at an early age, Annie participated in a variety of school sports and won several medals. In 2009 she took part in CrossFit competitions held in California. Her first results were quite impressive. Annie Thorisdottir is expected to turn 31 by 2021. Her height stands at 5'7" and she weighs around 67kg. Annie was the first to start CrossFit in California 2009. The first time she competed, she did very well and was ranked in the first 10 of the 70 competitors. She was not able to earn any titles, and ended up 11th on the list of final results. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The same year, under Jami's coaching she won the silver medal in the CrossFit Games. After a year full of CrossFit Games, Annie won her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant accomplishment earned her the title. Annie's exceptional performance in 2012 brought her to a second CrossFit Games victory. This was the second time she won consecutively. In 2014, she also received a gold medal. Then in 2021 she was awarded a bronze. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was started by Annie. Annie, who is gaining recognition for her athletic skills, has appeared in advertisements of athletic products, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration sidekick Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs, among other. The self-titled Youtube page has over 1,000 users, posting videos of her family, travel and other topics as well as training diets.
