Pickler born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, had a difficult childhood. When Pickler was just 2, her mother ran away to avoid an abusive situation. Then she returned to Pickler's life in 1995 and took custody of her. However it did not work out as planned. Pickler returned to her grandparents at 12 years old. The grandparents helped them through adulthood. Pickler did not have the capacity to raise her children when they were absent. Pickler said she didn't have time for study, she decided to learn how to cook and wash at a young age. Pickler was a member of the teams for cheerleading in both her middle-school and high-school. In 2004, she graduated at North Stanly High School. Pickler has also been a contestant for a beauty pageant. She once held the title to Miss Stanly county. She started her modeling career at a very young age and, in 1984, she made her debut in the film Once Upon a Time in America. Following several decades of modeling experience, the actress switched her focus to acting. She's appeared in films like the horror movie Phenomena as well as the musical fantasy Labyrinth and romantic comedy films Career Opportunities along with The Rocketeer.
